Product Information

Leica Store San Francisco is excited to announce a unique one-day workshop with Agence VU' photographer and educator Darcy Padilla (her last workshop was in 2019). The goal of this workshop is to help photographers in finding their personal vision to produce a meaningful portfolio or body of work. Whether you are beginning or professional; starting, working or finishing a project. Photographers will receive in-depth critiques, constructive discussion, and photographic references to further their work. This will be an engaging day of photography and a great way to get to know others in the photo community.

"Photography that moves me leaves me feeling an emotion. It makes me question my place in the world. The first thing in beginning a project is you must care and the second is to have questions. This workshop will explore your projects or portfolio focusing on visual storytelling. Discussing your thinking and approach to further develop a personal style.”

Topics covered include developing your project or portfolio, gaining access, composition, editing, and the relationship between images.

Photographers will have the opportunity to present prints of their portfolio, works in progress or finished projects and discuss ideas for future projects.

  • Location: Leica Store San Francisco
  • Schedule: Saturday, November 18, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • Price: $250
  • Workshop limited to 12 participants
  • All experience levels and photographers will be expected to bring a small series of prints to the workshop
