Leica has announced two Summicron lenses for the Leica SL system that position themselves as more accessible and lightweight options to the APO-Summicron-SL lenses—introducing the Leica 50mm f2.0 Summicron-SL ASPH and 35mm f2.0 Summicron-SL ASPH. In addition, Leica has announced bundles with these respective new lenses and the already existing 24-70mm f2.8 bundles currently available.

Leica has announced a limited-edition Leica M-A, the Leica M-A "Titan" set which includes a very special 50mm F2.0 APO-Summicron-M ASPH in titanium.
