Analog Photography Event Recap - November 17th, 2022Journal

On October 20th Leica Store San Francisco provided one roll of film to 100 photographers in celebration of analog photography and in conjunction with the launch of the new Leica M6 rangefinder camera. It was requested that each photographer expose their film, and return it to LSSF who would prepare it for pickup by Underdog Film Lab in Oakland, CA., Underdog would develop and scan the film and email the electronic files to the photographers. Upon receiving their scans each photographer was asked to select one favorite image and email it to LSSF where it would be shared with the local photo community at an event to be held at our gallery.

Beyond projecting each photographer's favorite image on the seminar projection screen, the staff at LSSF selected a few favorite images and had them printed and displayed on easels throughout the gallery.

The evening was enjoyed by hundreds and provided a catalyst for photographers to network and socialize with fellow creatives, visitors, and the photo community in general.
